Giving birth is an incredible, wonderful thing...but there is no denying that it can also be extremely painful. Even if you had an epidural, once it wears off...you will feel pain 😣😖 Luckily, most hospitals will provide all the essentials for your postpartum care, and you can take them home with you. Believe me you’ll be so grateful.  I brought home all the mesh underwear they provided. They were the most comfortable underwear I have ever wore. I gave birth in the middle of a pandemic

My due date was actually on my birthday, in May...but as with almost all pregnancy due dates, it rarely happens on that exact date.... Instead I was induced and gave birth on the day that would have been my baby shower, and in the middle of a pandemic. Get ready for a long read: It was the end of March 2020, I had just been laid off from work because of the pandemic, and we were worried, but at the same time somewhat relieved that I didn’t have to commute to work and risk contracting COVID. That same week, my husband was not feeling well, he had a strong headache, a mild fever, and a slight cough but no breathing problems thank goodness.
